I came across the most intriguing information the other day in a commentary on her life. The title of the song is "The Best." Written by Holly Knight and Mike Chapman, it was modest hit for Bonnie Tyler. It was Tina Turner's relentless energy and her one-of-a-kind voice that made it a song that could never be ignored. And the chorus is now generally taken to be the title. It just goes to show that a talented singer can find and express the greatness in an under-rated song. What's "I Got You," without James Brown?
