Description
The Droid hovered poised at the hatch; staring out as the stars seemed to race by faster and faster. It considered itself a reluctant passenger on this trip.
It's primary function on this assignment was planetary research, but now all that had changed.
"Investigator." The Droid shook its head from side to side. It raised a metal arm and silently wave as though someone could see it.

It's a neat concept. Unlike androids, droids have feelings, even misgivings. I like that idea. A significant improvement on that famous positronic net!

i figured from a society of A.I.s with emotions and feelings, even their Droids would have such features as well.
