Description
This is my first render with Vue d'Esprit.
I am slowly learning this software. I have used Bryce 5 and World Builder in the past. Vue d'Esprit seems to have any easier method for object placement and terrain placement.
Please comment on my first work with Vue and let me know if there is anything you can see that I'm doing wrong.
This scene had 289 objects, and was 25 million polygons in size.

You can most probably render this image in below 500k polygons by using Alpha Planes. But if you have a fast PC then I suppose 25 million Poly's is not a problem. :) Nothing wrong with the picture itself and the composition is good. Nice Work !

Great first render. I would not change a thing. Look forward to more.

Wow...I can tell you've had 3d experience. This looks great. I love the early-morning-fog effect. Welcome to Vue...you're going to love this program. :O)

An excellent scene, well organised and thought out. Dave

seems to me that your use of the other programms gave you a good felling for your work with vue, the scene looks very realistic, except the single tree in the middle that looks above the other ones. Great first render! hope you stay on line with Vue!

"except the single tree in the middle that looks above the other ones" LOL.. tell me about it.. after 6 hours of rendering I saw it ... It could be a very tall tree hehe :) Thanks for the comments.

If this is your first render in Vue, you're bulletproof.

What a great first render

I like it a lot too! Way better than my first renders :) One thing I think would improve the image (and raise the rendertime) would be to cover the entire ground en "dry grass". Just hide 'em in a layer and they won't slow your system! :) You've got some great skills for compositioning too :) Keep it up.
