Description

Another day, another spider ;) The brown recluse (aka fiddleback or violin spider) is probably one of the most feared spiders in North America. Its bite can cause a form of gangrene (never a good thing). It likes woodpiles and sheds, closets, garages, plenum spaces, cellars, and other places that are dry and generally undisturbed. When dwelling in human residences they seem to favor cardboard, possibly because it mimics the rotting tree bark which they inhabit naturally. In this Iray render, I chose a closet full of shoes...

Very interesting facts! Lovely render to go along with it too. Now I wonder what's lurking in my closet haha

Well done! Made me cringe. I try to remember to shuffle and shake old cardboard boxes in the basement before digging through them.
