Nice picture with some significant emotional tension. The fellow on the right seems distressed and his friend on the left very conciliatory and supportive. I can imagine a number of scenarios and I think it's a successful picture that engages the viewer and causes them to ask what's happening here?
On the technical side, the background is very pretty. =)
