Description
~Wednesday Addams~
My favorite Goth girl. When Christina Ricci played her, my favorite part was when the teacher asked her to smile. Jenna Ortega did a good job too, though the writing was a bit out of character, since Wednesday was not into "helping" people - she was a self-proclaimed "homicidal maniac" and would rather make others suffer. Personally, I think the actress was better than the writing.
Nonetheless, I loved how they portrayed her Gothic black & white personality reflected in the real world. I also liked that they picked a Latina actress, since Wednesday's father (Gomez Addams) is [very] Latino. However, I don't think her parents were at the same performance level as Raul Julia and Angelica Houston from the 1991 "The Addams Family" movie. But it was cool that Ricci was also in the series, this time playing a teacher. Kudos for Jenna for the excellent performance, and I hope there is a 2nd season! Image composed with Stable Diffusion and Paintshop.

Loved the originals and the new TV series, and super love this portrait of Wednesday! The style and the attitude conveyed through the camera angle and her body language are perfect!
You mean Netflix isn't already working on a 2nd season?!?! Shame on them!

Thank you! I used the "Dutch Tilt" and perspective distortion to give her an unsettling mood that I think suits her character. As for the TV series, I think big part of it was having Tim Burton as executive producer, and personally directing half of the episodes himself, in addition to Jenna's on-spot performance as Wednesday. If they make a next season, I hope they will keep this combination. ^____^

Enjoyable picture, Ken, and I can't add anything to what's already been said except there was a green light for a second season but the Hollywood strikes will likely delay it significantly. (ㆆ_ㆆ)
