The Bird of Prey raced headlong into Federation territory on a mission of destruction. For the moment however, all was at peace. They were still yet some distance from their destination.

Cool ship! I remember the Trek episode "The Enemy Below" when Starfleet first encountered the Romulans. They had more advanced weaponry and cloaking, but still no match for the Enterprise and her crew.
