Description
OK, So you asked: Here is the storyline, Based on the Original Battlestar Galactica from the books and show in the 1970's:
During the time when the Colonial Fleet was on it's way to Cobalt for the Peace treaty, (You know, the one that didn't happen) The Colonial Fleet came under attack by the Cylon's and at the same time, the Colonial Home worlds fell prey to the Ceylon fleet. (The Biggest military blunder of all times). NO, I don't buy it.
Nothing works that smoothly for anyone. Besides, We never hear what happened on the planets of Virgon, Librian and Leonos. Virgo's never would have let themselves be taken so completely by surprise, by an enemy that they had been fight for over 1000 years. The enemy {Cylon's) is a toaster, the enemy should be a toaster and lose at every turn, Why? because their the ENEMY! So back to the storyline.
The Batlestar SPICA returned to Virgon for repairs and was unable to join the Fleet, so it remained over Virgon and monitored the Fleet's progress, when the Galactica went on alert, The crew of the Battlestar SPICA knew it. The Lightspeed Drive of the ship was still under repair so SPICA's Captain ordered the ship into a polar position when they detected the approaching Cylon Baseships. The planetary Gun's of Virgo were brought online and thier fire was directed by SPICA while it used the planets Polar magnetic field to clock it's position. SPICA's position was only given away when they engaged their planetary shield for Virgon. And the Fight was on. The Cylon Baseships fell prey to the gun's of Virgon, Viper's filled the skies, but this attracted the attention of the rest of the Cylon fleet. Just where do you think all those baseships were? when the Galactica returned to Caprica.
