Christian, I'm only back for one comment in each gallery, this morning...I'm sorry for my long absence, but I've been offline for a while to take care of personal matters. I'll get to more of your work next time...
The hues in this photo are wonderful...it feels like early morning or dusk, that strange in-between light that is so suggestive and beautiful. And the chairs---really, they look like ancient sculptures left on the beach by some unknown civilization...and you came upon them one day, and you were so overwhelmed by their strange spirit, you just had to photograph them. They seem mysterioius and alive. (I've never seen chairs like that before! They're little creatures, like the statues on Easter Island!) A wonderful shot---among a lot of other wonderful shots. You do beautiful work. I'll be back for more later in the summer. I hope you're well and healthy!

These are cool, I've never seen beach chairs like this before! So nice and neatly arranged too, love how you've captured the rows of them!

Thank you very much for your comment. Much appreciated. I think the "Strandkorb" is a German tradition that has a long history. The first "Strandkorb" was built in 1882 by Wilhelm Bartelmann.

I've never spent a Summer holiday by the Baltic sea, but this fantastic and gorgeous capture is to me like a very clichΓ© image of it that crosses my mind whenever I think of this Northern part of Germany :-)
