Retired bookseller (yay!) who works as the managing editor for Renderosity. I live in Los Angeles with the writer, Lisa Morton, and a houseful of cats, books, and computers (oh, and cookies). I love reading, gardening, and anything strange and weird. Have a podcast called The Paperback Show and spend a lot of time trying to keep weeks out of our California native garden.

love the bricks holding the case off the floor in case of water damage, or i assume that may be it given the drain, though the other cases look entirely floor-based... i bet there's a treasure trove in there :)

Looks like it would have a lot of cool finds! Like the angle you have in this photo - looks like endless options!

All of those blue/white colored paperbacks at the top are called "Ace Doubles" as they had two novels: one on one side of the book and another on the other side.

What a cool place. I would spend hours in there.

You and me both, ll. As it was, my wife and I had to have books shipped back to us we bought so many books. And we were only there for an hour! Wonderful bookshop. I am so glad these kind of shops still exist.

This is too cool! I love it. The TNA Girls will be poking around in a scene like this in the near future (if I can ever get back to some writing and artwork...). Very cool photo!
