~Sonja the Red~ My homage to Red Sonja (aka "She-Devil with a Sword") from the "Conan The Barbarian" universe. This is to show how Conan didn't have a particular preference, since he first picked Belit, who was a brunette, then Valeria, a blonde, and then Sonja, a redhead. For some reason, Red Sonja was the only one to feature a specific iconic outfit: her famous scales-plated bikini armor. Belit and Valeria had no specific outfit. Red Sonja was also the only one from the 3 who didn't have a tragic demise, so I guess she was special. Not only that, but Red Sonja was also the only one to receive a canon background story, which was almost copy & paste from Conan's own story. They both had witnessed their families being murdered when they were kids, they were both trained to become warriors, they were both motivated by a thirst for revenge, they both had a nomadic mercenary lifestyle, they shared this unyielding determination and indomitable spirit, they were both barbarians, they had both picked the sword as the weapon of choice, and finally, they both had no interest in getting attached to other people. Although Red Sonja is known for being undefeated, when Conan first met her, she was being held captive by a group of mercenaries, playing the role of a damsel in distress, and he had to save her. It was never explained how she was being kept prisoner without having first being defeated in combat. I guess sometimes we have to turn our brains off, and stop asking silly questions.
