Le bikini est bien plus sexy que la nudité complète, certes. Mais pourquoi cacher son corps quand on vieillit? J'ai maigri de 13 kg alors que je n'étais pas gras du tout, mais je m'accepte comme je suis puisque mon épouse et mes amis m'acceptent comme ça. Je ne connaissais pas Tavik-Frantisek Simon...

Tout a fait d'accord, il faut accepter que le corps change avec le temps, je pense que l'on est beau dans le regard des autres, plus que dans le sien.

Thanks for pointing me to Tavik-Frantisek Simon, yet another painter of which I was not previously aware. =) As a woman of a certain age I can testify that I am now reduced to watching the attention of men now focus upon younger (often more scantily clad, as here) women. I do love the impression of having become a complete imbecile that is given by the fellow as he admires the young woman. XD

I remembered that the word "bikini" had been given to this piece of swimsuit, following the atomic tests on the atoll, to designate the probable devastating effect that this swimsuit would have on men, in particular. I quite easily associated the swirl of hairstyles with the cloud-mushroom effect. The man's dazed expression was reminded of me by Tex Avery's wolf. The elderly lady in an outdated bathing suit seems to pass judgment on the visitor's conduct. On closer inspection, these two female models could, in fact, be hyper-realistic sculptures in the showroom, since they are placed on pedestals.
