In addition to the splendid photos, the flowers are also perfect... why are my roses being devoured by all possible parasites?

It is common unfortunately that bugs will go after plants. If you can figure out which ones, you can look up online how to discourage them. Some for example will be warded off if you spray the leaves of the plant with soapy water (be careful not to get into the soil, that won't be good for the plants). Other bugs such as lily beetles don't like the soil so much if you mix with coffee grounds - and that is healthier for the plants! But like I said, you'll have to look up your particular pest and see if there are some tips of what you can do.
