This may be a silly question, but have you ever seen the original B&W 1933 film? I still love seeing it, even today if it comes on t.v. The 1976 version was okay, but lacked the charisma and excitement of the original. Also, did you know there were 2 versions of the 1933 film released. The film guild at that time edited the film to make it more acceptable to the 1933 audience, but 20 or so years ago, the uncut version was released, which showed King Kong holding the girl in his hand, peeling off her dress, and flipping her boobs around, playing with her. The girl, Fay Wray, was a beautiful actress, too. Probably some FYI you didn't need to know.
