This makes me think of 'my' nest. I was afraid that even the doves had gone, but instead they have only reduced their activities due to the heat of the last few days.

Dear APlusDesign, I've been trying to photograph the doves for a couple of days, but I can't: the nest is perfectly camouflaged behind a branch and, if it's not the time to feed, the chicks are invisible. Even the parents when they are in the nest are not very visible. I should do some birdwatching, but unfortunately I don't have much time for it. I still took some awful photos which, if I can't do better, I'll post.

Ah, well sometimes birds are a bit shy! They are trying to stay safe and unfortunately that means sometimes we can't photograph - I've certainly run into that a few times myself! I appreciate you trying to get the pictures and would love to see them even if you couldn't get teh greatest of shots. Glad to hear the doves are still doing fine though :)
