When a plan formulated by agents of a foreign power to try to take the life of a man who has only ever tried to do good and make the world we all live in a better place for all those who exist upon the world’s surface fails, killing instead the man’s wife and his two young children, it sets in motion a series of events which even they could not have conceived possible at the time.
Now as a highly experimental drug, a drug which even its creators do not fully understand how it works, courses through the horribly broken body of multi-billionaire industrialist Jason Warlock slowly aiding Warlock along the long and painful road he must travel back to physical health, his still fully active mind comes to realise, and truly see for the first time, that the incredibly beautiful world he once had the chance to look down upon from near Earth orbit many years before, is truly ugly the closer one gets to its surface, and makes the decision to use the vast resources at his disposal in the shape of an elite team of former special forces operatives, operatives who are backed up by series of ultra high tech weaponry systems, to fight back against the various evils which inhabit our world, and bring ultimate and final justice to those who only seek to make the world a better place for themselves, and not for those who suffer because of them.
This is the continuing story of SWORD, just not the one which the world already knows, the one which was created to try and do good, but the one which will come to be, the one born out of the fire and flame which nearly killed the man who will create it.
