Description

Yes, it's an oldie. Again. 2014. Hatta? Work that one out for yourself (it's not difficult) - there's a couple of clues in the main picture, and more in the other pictures*... :D (The First Prime here is known as Eko, but that's another story**... :) Freebie credits: - Jaffa armour by Dodger('Limited use with credits' licence, from http://www.sharecg.com/v/33264/browse/11/Poser/Jaffa-Armour-PC ) - For the helmets I used the 'Austere Bunny' STL by cerberus333 (CC-BY-NC licence, from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:51929/#files ), modified by myself for this image. Well, I almost got a sensible spaceman/girl in a sci-fi corridor this time! 2nd pic shows how I didn't get far before something strange took over. 3rd pic shows where the idea started and where it might go next... 4th/5th pics: Madmartsh and Haigha join Eko as Second and Third Primes (if that's not a contradiction?). I've realized that the huge increase in render times if I use atmosphere can be overcome by doing an atmosphere only render (no AO, all surfaces totally black) which is fairly quick, and a bit of postwork. Not perfect, but a reasonable shortcut if time's pressing. I removed the ambient from A'ko's skin and it looks wrong now, but Haigha's skin still has ambient, and it looks like it's glowing which is wrong too. Also I overdid the focus blur. And I'm having problems posing the loincloths - just can't get them right. And Madmartsh's kilt is oddly stretched by the extreme pose. But these are all minor problems that I should be able to fix if I can remember where I left my brain... Note: I think this is where I got my Focus Blur plugin form - http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4016 - I was using GIMP 2.8 in 2014 I think when the kneeling guy with the scythe thingy held bazooka style pulls the trigger the round bit on the end goes 'Plop!' and drops on the floor, wobbles about weeble style for a bit and the rights itself, at which point the chap on the right of the picture gives ait a good welly, rugby place kick style. *If you give up on Hatta check this page on Wikipedia... **If you can't work out A'ko check this page on Wikipedia... Your comics are BRILLIANT!!! I love the mix between the imagined story, the technical-creative process and your personal comments!! In my opinion you should do some theatrical performances!!!

Thank you - welcome to the small cognoscenti who appreciate my sense of humour ! :D

I have a couple of threads in the DAZ art studio forum where I occasionally do performance art (well, my version of it - I edit earlier posts in a creative manner...)

Since links to DAZ aren't permitted just google the following phrase, the thread title (include the quote marks):

"Pointless Prizeless Challenge #87: Render A Ridiculous RPG Character"

Thanks for the recommendations: 😎 I took a tour of the places you recommended and I must say that I was very satisfied!! You are a volcano of ideas and very prolific in the various arts!! I'll try to follow you... a little hard though because I'm more of a sloth type.
