I've been doing the CGI modelling and texturing bit for a few years now on and off. Â
I come from a physical model building and painting background (miniatures, some sculpting painting, etc).   That's taught me a lot about how to get a certain look out of a certain technique or texture.    A lot of that carries over into 3d modelling and texture building.
My day job is a soul-sucking piece of [expletive deleted] but it pays the bills.  But I still need to do more and give something back.    So these boards are kind of an outlet for that side of myself.
Â
I love the post apocalyptic and survival horror genres, as is evident in most of my goodies.  The cheesier the movie the better.

I would have viewed this as a middle-aged Elric, except he wields an axe -- though he goes back to wielding a sword in the third pic, which I would consider the best of the three and which has a definite Frank Frazetta feel to it (wonder how you crafted the setting).

Re: papa's games This figure pays homage to the original Games Workshop character, whom some of you out there may recognize.

Not that my R'osity monicker gave it away or anything....
But yeah, wish they would've done more with him, but into the abandonware pile he went, for me to salvage just a bit. I liked him.
