Description

In 1897, near the end of the Victorian Era, drawing on emerging electrical technology and developing his own pioneering concepts of magnetic flux propulsion, the brilliant engineer Eugene Lentier built his first flying saucer, the Explorer. A few hours before its unveiling, Lentier and some of his technical staff complete a final checkout of the first Explorer. The flying saucer is the Victorian Flying Saucer. The hangar is the Light Aircraft Hangar, retextured and the adjoining office is from Ockham Great Smith freebie, also retextured and augmented and augmented with Garden Escape Planters from DAZ. The people are M4 in the Grantham and Edwardian Casual suits from DAZ. The environment is Flink's Sky and Oak and shrubs from RDNA. The birds are from Flock Formations. The rendered scene is inspired by and expands on an image by "Riofranco". I added the pale daylight moon after seeing one on a walk early this morning. Composed and rendered In Poser 11 Pro, with some post-processing in Corel Photo Paint.
