Description
In this 'out of the box' asset test a young lady contemplates how a crewless U-Boot has navigated shallow, sheltered waters to lie off her beachfront retreat. Why is another matter, entirely.
3djoji's Type VII is crewless because the Power That is was too lazy to create, clothe and pose them.
Dreamlight's HDRI set is massive - far more than just an HDRI with lots of potential and available free on Renderhub.
perik's 1940.s pants/shirt outfit dropped nicely without tweaking in dforce. The fabric is detailed and fussed a little with the camera settings but is a really nice set for period pieces.
Enjoy Ute!

OMG John, now you got me!!! First of all I want to thank you for this very special gift, 2ndly how did you knew that my dad was a member of a U-boat crew in WWII (deployed in La Rochelle, France)? This new graphic looks realy great, I especially like the many small details that you only discover when you take a closer look!

My pleasure Ute - you told me your father was U-Boot-Waffe, and if I recall, on Scharnhorst as well. Not the sort of thing I forget. My uncle trained in the south during the war and the kitchen staff were from 21st Panzer. He could speak enough German to respect those guys quite a bit, and not for a few extra morsels of army chow :)
Glad you liked it :)

My goodness, now that you say it, I remember it too, respect for your great memory dear John, unfortunately mine is fading, must be due to age!!!!

Although the models hair is behaving a bit strangely the rest of the image is PERFECT. It has the feeling of a real photograph and not a rendered scene. I will certainly have to look into acquiring the Dreamlight HDRI set! =)

Hi Mollz - the hair struggled with Dforce. I likely should have moved it manually or made another selection. Was looking for a '40s 'do and there aren't many.
Dreamlight does good work and has been at it awhile. Currently he seems focused on setting up existing sets from creator's like FG as ready to render HDRIs which work well and spin nicely but can be hard on storage. I put them in as needed...
His pirate's cove might interest you. I've played with it a bit and it can shine with a few good people and props.
