I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

An image well suited to the intention. I didn't know him but RIP to him and sorry for those who will miss him. Another reminder that life is precious and none of us knows how much of it we have.

This is a great tribute. I feel so sad about this although I never knew Den. Even after viewing just a view images of his gallery I like his humor and his art. All my best wishes to his family and those who knew him.

A Tribute that makes your heart ache, when you can only imagine why Den chose such a path to end his life and that he was still among us during his transition to a better world. I only met him a few months ago through one of my Ukraine graphics. May his Soul rest in everlasting Peace!

Very beautiful tribute to a dearly lost friend. Friends don’t tell each other goodbye. Instead, they say, ‘Until we meet again’.

I'm sorry I'm so late on this, Rod, I saw it when you posted it but would not have been able to leave a good comment at the time. It's a beautiful dedi, both in image and words, both from the center of your heart. I'm so sorry that Dennis had to leave this world so suddenly, and after the loss of his dear wife as well. He showed such bravery to us, and I hope his soul is free and filled with light, and with the presence of his wife and all the others he loved and cared about, incl those here. And re your words, for all of us who've answered the call of art and creation, it's a strange and miraculous family, both crazed and beautiful, and resulting in light and revelation right and left...and embracing it in the shadow of a loss is wonderful. Your image is beautiful, I assume a photo of water and sunset, w/ a beautifully painted beach (by you), and your and Den's models basking in that sun, which now is inhabited by Dennis' spirit. Beautiful work, Rod, and all my blessings to Dennis's family and loved ones, and to his light which I hope will put the sun to shame in its brave and pure brightness. May he shine now forever.

I'll be seeing Him on the Other Side.

What a fantastic tribute! A very detailed work of art that is simply amazing. I didn't know Enigma-Man, however I Googled him. He made a wonderful impact with his art.

This sunset image is beautiful way to say goodbye. I have to agree with your sentiment on accepting artists in spite of the tools or skillset they use in their creation. Initially I scoffed at Poser and 3D rendering software. Considering how I use it now I've definitely changed my stance. So, I can learn to be more accepting of AI.
RodS
Well, thus far the only AI I've played with is the Firefly stuff in the new Beta version of Photoshop. It's pretty impressive. I will be using it, but it - or any AI I mess with - will be PART of my creative toolset, and will be PART of any images I create, not the base creator of the image. That's MY job! 😁

A great tribute to a great artist! May he rest in peace while his art shine forever. 🙏
