as always, I'm skipping around...This image, like so many of your portraits, has many different feelings all in one. It's a portrait in a frame, and she looks very regal. But she also looks wild, like a renegade from the castle behind her. And also daring---like she could be a soldier if called upon. Her hues match those of the frame. And her gaze is, as in all your portraits, complex, multi-dimensional. A really rich portrait...and that's quite a little 'summer home' she has in the background...modest little retreat! Beautiful image.
