I went to Louisiana 1973-74 to assist putting the first 7/11 together for Japan. it did not look much different than the stores here locally

The images run kind of sequentially for me from left to right showing the male character (Tetsuo?) confronting and levitating the armored vehicle. Of course, I love the featured image (which I read as the last in the sequence) from the viewpoint of the 7-11 customer dropping her soft drink as she fearfully watches the unfolding scene outside. I love this kind of sequence! It could easily be a movie storyboard. =)
