Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

Oooh. I love how you used the crosshatching. You really can draw! M.

The things I can see that's making them look more dog than wolf is that you're flattening the top of the head a bit too much and making the muzzle a bit too square. Wolves tend to have more rounded heads than dogs and they lack the more squared muzzle of say a labrador retriever. The shape is somewhere between the square of a dog and the pointy face of a fox. You'll also find that wolves tend to have more "poofy" fur around their heads like a chow dog. The texturing technique you're using is wonderfull, though. ;-)

looks great but the top of the muzzle is twisted to the left compared to the position of the eye

Moe uses a pencil!? Egads, man! Is there no end to your skill?! My only minor gripe, beyond those mentioned above, is that his mouth is a little off-perspective. IT's still great and excellent shading!
