Description
Again a picture of my Salt Flat Series. Here you see a Lockheed F-104A Starfighter of 479th Tactical Fighter Wing on Rogers Dry Lake, where the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center and Edwards Air Force Base are located, in 1959. The 479th TFW was based on George AFB in 1959.
Ehm... If you don't see the structure of the salt you need a better monitor. :-)

Awesome work on a beautiful piece of aviation history. Nothing like the flying missile. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find the model? I'm always looking for good vintage warbirds.
