Subaru makes a good vehicle. One way to cheat with fuel is to mix premium with midgrade. The resulting octane is actually higher than the average of the two...

having 4Wheel drive is a problem when there is very little ground clearance

Excellent photo, I can understand how the 4-wheel drive being a problem with little ground clearance. However, it was not meant to be an off-road vehicle.
