Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

I just came across your photos and recent story of Stella. Oh how I know the roller coaster you are going through, when one of your beloved pet family memers suddenly stop eating. I went through this situation so often. I feared so many times to loose one of them through starving and not being able to do anything. You simply cannot force them to eat, if they refuse to snd where with humans, we can addrees them by explaining, that it is important to eat, to not take any more damage, animals won't get our words and explanations. With cats (I don't know much about dogs), if they refuse to eat, the main and first problem that arises (long before starving) is dehydration. While they may easily get away with nit eating (for quite a time), they can develop permanent kidney damage in just a couple of days, if they dehydrate.
I'm so glad though, to read, that Stella made it through your loving care (and I guess, you now can get sleep in the night again).
Wonderful series of photos!

I think cats are fussy eaters, so when they don’t it’s a nightmare. It is so frustrating when an animal won’t eat as you say you cannot explain to them why it would be a good idea. Thank you

So pleased Stella is improving nicely. Had a bit of a scare with ours but he's had bloods done and there is no malignancy. Stay safe and look after Mum, Stella! You're fit and healthy now!
