EXCELLENT work on a subtle scene. I really like the simple composition; you frame the spring nicely. And your color choices are appropriately alien without being overly weird. If I were to suggest any improvements, they would be minor. Like maybe adding some sort of haze or mist so you could play with more light effects. Nothing major, mind you, but just a little something to give us a sense that there is an atmosphere. I'm just nitpicking, though, this is solid work and thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that some haze could have added to the image - I just didn't think of it at the time. Whoops! :-)
