Description
After fastening the locator badge to his shirt, the Ensign lead him through the station.
He was grateful that she was young and a bit of a talker. Leading the conversation subtly, he was gaining more and more useful information.
He allowed his attention drift to a sultry woman waiting at the side of the corridor. The Ensign noticed his attention and smiled.
"Party girl." She giggled softly. "There will be more and more of them appearing about now. "Always ready for a good time at a price. Depends on low long you've been alone in space."
"Not that long." Navarre smiled innocently. "I have someone at home waiting for my return."
"Oh," She titled her head to one side and smiled. "That's so sweet."
"So, what's so special about this time that brings them out?" He questioned curiously. "A few of my crew seemed rather anxious to spend a little time here."
"Shift change for the weekend at the local ships facilities and construction bases. The casinos and rec centers will be filled with red jump suits looking for a good time."
"Ah." Navarre nodded with a grin. "I see."
"It gets to be a mess." She pointed to his identity badge. "So many that the system will be virtually overloaded. It's a new system that is still being configured."
"Anything new takes time to make right." He chuckled. "I would imagine your job will be loaded with issues as well."
"We're actually delighted when the weekend is over." She rolled her eyes. "Intoxicated people staggering all over the place. We have to increase security on restricted area. They seem to be able to get into everything. Passenger carriers will be coming and going on a constant routine."
"So I should expect delays in getting much done?"
"Afraid so." She scowled with a shake of her head. "Things here don't seem to run as smoothly as other stations. Andorra is a highly industrial regions and most of Federation laws don't apply here except on this station, and that alone causes a great many conflicts that are still undergoing negotiations."
They stopped at a door, and she indicated with a nod of her head. "Your quarters. Entry had already been programmed into your badge. The desk computer terminal has all the ships accessible areas to you. Enjoy you stay."
"Thank you." Navarre nodded curtly and stepped up to the door, which instantly opened to his approach. He grinned as he stepped through the door.

Nicely done!
Just what he needed - a chatty guide and all that information. I wonder just where the Prime's got to?
