Description
Illustrating the old Dutch ditty of the cow on the roof - "Holder de bolder, we hebben een koe op solder; een groote 4 siinder koe, aboe aboe aboe!" According to my mother, it was an oblique coded reference for those hiding Jews in their attics, in Holland.
