Hello dear rendosian friends,
It's back to school time in France and I'm busy at work ! Nevertheless, I have a little bit of time to share a capture of the famous mosaics of Ravenna (Italy).
These mosaics were created during the reign of Theodoric the Great, in the 6th century. They represent the Three Kings and is part of a huge decorated wall inside the Basilica of Sant' Apollinare Nuovo.
Ravenna has the most beautiful and largest collection of mosaics of Byzantine Time and they belong to the UNESCO list since 1996

So that's where so many got their ideals for some of these Photoshop layer styles! Can definitely see the patterns in the golden legs and the sky. Its kinda like hey I own those styles. Now I know how to use them =)

Superbe prise-de-vue comme toi seule peux en être l'auteur...je vais peut-être te convaincre d'aller au sud de l'Espagne voir des vestiges Romains dans ce cas et de superbe mosaïques, à moins que la Jordanie ne te tente ! C'est certain, ces trois rois sont mag...iques !

Une excellente idée de photographier ces mosaïques magnifiques et impressionnantes de fraîcheur malgré le passage des siècles depuis leur création. Ton explication historique vient compléter mon émerveillement devant cette forme d'art à son apogée, et la photo que tu as faite est parfaite pour mettre ces mosaïques en valeur. En parallèle, j'espère que ta rentrée s'est bien passée, après ces vacances très culturelles bien méritées!
