I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Very nice scene, Rod! Great beautiful lady and outfit, lighting and pose! Really well done... like this composition a lot!
It would be nice to see AI technology being used in the medical field. Political? Can it do the President's job yet?
starship64
This is fantastic work!

Beautiful scene! really well done with a great quality render!! 👍🙋♂️

Lovely lady as always and nice job compositing. Ever since my bro and I inherited mom's house we've been slowly emptying the basement and taking care of some home improvements, so I can relate a little. After Ida a few years ago we finally got around to mitigating and diverting rainwater from the neighbor and the streets, had a bunch of dead ash trees cut down, fixed the attic fan, a sky light and so on. It aint cheap!!! Good luck with all and I hope you find a nice affordable community with a great internet connection and a pool.

Totally cool, Rod!!

You turned her offer down?! Pretty sure I'd find that tricky myself...
Nothing wrong with using AI as long as it isn't misused. I've been using AI to generate a lot of images myself, though like you I have the intention of using them to further my 3D work not to replace it. I also post them only on a web site devoted to AI images, not in a more general setting like Renderosity or my DAZ gallery.
Good luck with the catching up, I have some of that to do myself. If my stuff doesn't get a comment from you I tend to assume the notification system is being its usual unreliable self again, so no offense is taken here. I do wish it would be more reliable though as I like to flatter myself that some people at least would LIKE to see my stuff...

Nice set of wheels and the car is great too :-) I know how it is getting things in order. I had to get a home up to code by myself to sell after an inspector came through. Life happens right?
shadelix
Nice reflection of her ... erm ... legs on the car. Her dress is too short to be true. Probably that's why she's posing out in the nature. On the other hand the AI wasn't "I" enough because it forgot to correct the reflections at the doors of the car. We see some trees and bushes near the car whereas the reflection shows us some grass area with a lane or something alike. Okay, now I shut up and continue staring at her ... shoes. LOL
RodS
Yeah, the reflections were kinda bugging me a bit as well - I probably should have gone into the mats for the car and done a bit of Photoshopping, but I was lazy.. LOL It was me, not the AI.. The PS generative fill was only used on the BG photo to expand the flat part so Romy wouldn't fall in a black hole or something 😆. Enjoy those ..... ummmm...... shoes, my friend!

Cool scene! And don't worry about the comments, just don't stop posting your art, as we sure like it!!!
RodS
Thank you so much - that really put a smile on my face!😁 I'll definitely keep it coming!

Romy sure is after a mans heart Rod, she also has good taste in cars. a nice photo bg setting also. i hope all goes great with taking care of your house for sale so you can move into that retirement place. will be more peaceful there, most likely little or no yard work. best of all not a noisy neighbor like you have blaring loud crap. thanks for your comments.
RodS
Thanks, Steve! More on the way. We just came back in from mowing the backyard, and mulching the 9 cubic tons of leaves from last fall (that's how far behind I am.... LOL). Gah. With all the big-ass trees in and surrounding this yard, it's a major pain in the butt. (I might post a photo). Glad it's not 100 degrees out there, now.

Careful with all the housework, it can catch up with you when you least expect. Lovely lady and caddy.
STEVIEUKWONDER
Your perspective is spot on here Rod! She's a looker and must have worked hard for the car. Your photo makes this scene. Nice work Sir!

Cool and sexy render. Nice work, Rod !!!!
OmniFX
Lovely, sexy and demur looking lady. Fabulous outfit to go with her shiny new caddy. Super looking background and cool license plate to go with that excellent car. Well done!
UteBigSmile
It's a wonderfuly done new image and I love your "funny rant" too brother!🌷
JoeJarrah
Nicely done; the integration is excellent.
thartwick1
Well done. Great idea using the generative fill feature in PS.

Doesn't sound like you have retired yet, Rod! I'm happy to see the fine result of your foray into ai tools! I have to say I'm totally impressed by the results! keep on trucking my friend! You'll arrive at your destination one of these days! Until then, keep and active mind and busy fingers! LOL! Now I have no idea where those words came from!

The added parts look great! Photoshop keeps bugging me to use that feature, and so far I have declined :D I have used Dall-e a bit and I discovered that if I put a prompt in it and looked at what it made, and then used the same prompt in Google image search I would find the (better) original, so I think it's main skill set is extending stuff you already have. It's amazing how AI just lifts images and then says look what I made :D You have been so busy! And it looks like that won't change. maybe it would be easier just to hex your problem neighbor into moving further away and save you the trouble of moving yourself :D

Holy #^3!49 moly! Way too hot, outstanding unbelievable glamorous composition, superb environment and lighting, brilliant awesome render.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!😊💝🥰

I understand know what meant by "retirement" in one your comments. As busy life gets me work and family, I'm lucky to get the time work on my art and comment on art like yours. Fantastic use of AI been trying to work with in Photoshop myself.
anahata.c
You were telling people why you may have missed some comments: You leave some of the best comments on the site, you have nothing to apologize for or explain, truly. And then, anyone who cares has to know why you've had to be gone on and off. You've been deluged on all fronts. (Sheee-it, dude, I was gone 2 or 3 months straight.) So I Hope everyone understands.
Yes generative fill is a real treat. I've not used it yet (I've used AI as a source of 'mixed media', where I credit it for what it gave me, while I do everything else myself...but I mainly do my own art.) Your generative fill is seamless, I wouldn't have known it was there if you hadn't told us.
You picked the right colors for Romy (in her outfit) to make her stand out against that stark new Caddy. And a perfect model pose too. Posed yet totally relaxed. It's done like a photographer would do it. Fine work...and the contrasts of color and light are just right. A very natural pose and image.
(See? You didn't have to cancel 6 doctor appointments to read that comment!) (From Reuters: "We regret to state that our dear friend Rod passed away last night while reading one of anahata.c's comments...he canceled 3 doctor appointments and 1 surgery---one of which was called "essential"---becuase the comment he was reading was just "too damned long" (Rod). "I had no choice," said Rod, some 20 minutes before a passed out: "He writes such lonnnnnnng comments...I was just finishing the 1st one when I felt this fog come over me---this often happens when I read his comments---and I------" And that was the last thing Rod wrote. Anahata.c couldn't be reached for comment, though those close to him believe he's hiding in the Yukon..."Fourth damned artist I've killed since September," wrote anahata, in a note to his friends. The FBI and CIA are looking for him, though expect it to be "a long haul". According to local reports, Anahata.c was last seen commenting on a deer near Barrow, Alaska: The deer has gone into a coma, while 2 of his family have passed away, and the other 2 moved to the North Pole as it would be "a lot more comfortable than reading this guy's comments..." The police are investigating...More reports at 11...")
RodS
OMG.... ROTFLMAO..
Thanks so much, Mark! You do realize, don't you, that after that last paragraph, I'm gonna have to come back and haunt you, right? Have plenty of coffee on hand! 😆
