Description

Bryce 5 with a little touching up in Corel Photopaint 10. I think this is the most photo-realistic image we have created to date and we hope everyone enjoys. Though this image is not an exact replica, the real lighthouse was the inspiration for this project. Please share your thoughts on our work. The seagulls were from Vista Internet Products. On July 10, 1797, Congress appropriated $44,000 "for erecting a lighthouse on the head land of Cape Hatteras and a lighted beacon on Shell Castle Island, in the harbor of Ocracoke in the State of North Carolina." The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse cost $14,302 to build and the Shell Castle Island Lighthouse was built from part of the surplus. Both were completed in 1803.

Beautiful lighting and realism. My impression is that it's a sunny mid-winter day, for the clearness of the sky and the light, but maybe I'm wrong. Excellent work!

This is a great example of the realism that can be achieved in Bryce! Awsome job the only thing I would have did was add a bit of atmosphere but thats just me, you did great. X
