this bloody thing took me a good 15+ hours to complete but i think it was worth it my first CG of 2003, and my first CG of samus in about 2 or 3 years, i hope i'm on the right track decided to work on my airbrush shading with this too, also one of the very few times i've done a separate character drawing just for the background, in case your wondering, yes, that's supposed to be samus without her armor, i have no idea how accurate that is, because it's very difficult to come accross refference materials for her like that, i mostly just find her armor images most of the work was taken up drawing and coloring the armor... about 2 1/2 to 3 hours just for the outline, then another hour or more on scanning and cleaning, then about 2 hours on the coloring also, that planet in the background is an actual 3D render i did in Bryce 5, later modified in photoshop, it's SUPPOSED to be Tallon IV from the game, dunno how accurately though anyhoo... there you have it! many hours of work resulting in this!
