The Colonial Expeditionary Force braves unexplored worlds in the search for a new home for humanity. Sometimes these worlds have not been without previous inhabitants. It is the survey team's role to explore the remnants of long lost civilizations, not only to learn of their fate, but of any possible ties to Earth. Part of my Future Dawn series (yes, that is Dawn in a kitbashed outfit). Originally rendered over a year ago, then worked up with some digital painting.
