Description
just a little tree-experiment in bryce 5. the main point for me was the mood of nature and light. does anybody know, if there is a possibility to create grass in bryce?

I like this one. Great lighting and atmosphere. About the grass: It is possible to make grass with a terrain, by making spikes in a high resolution ("frndofyaweh" has some examples of this, look in his gallery). My approach would be to use imported objects, though. The Bantam3D grassmaker by "Geese" makes all sorts of grass in relatively small OBJ files, which you then import into Bryce. For samples of this, take a look in my gallery. The grassmaker is free and available at bantam3D.com.

Yeah, try Bantam's 3D grass, it's effective and easy to use. __ I like a lot the image, specially the POV with the foreground trees framing the scene.

i think Bantam3D grassmaker is only for pc and not for mac. but now i did my own grass in cinema4d and imported it into bryce.

Great job! I especially love the distant hills with lights and shadows.

GREAT detail work. The very slight hint of the distant hills are the icing on this wonderful render.
