Description
The idea behind this piece was to represent the pain behind an explosion / bomb.
It isn't supposed to represent what it would look like, I was looking more for atmosphere and feeling than an exact reproduction, hopfuly that is what was achieved.
Comments helpful and welcome as always.
Thanks

I love this! The only thing that niggles me a little is the composition, with her right hand going out of shot a little, but you may have done it deliberately? Excellent! VH

Yea, the composition thing and the stretched textures, oh and the kinked right elbow. Excellent idea though. High marks from me.

uh "ugly" ..i think. i don't give you an ranking for this great picture. I remember at the Vietnam girl that was injured by the US Napalm bombs. (Before five years this girl (no woman) was in my city in a famous special skinclinic. All about this napalmwar is a dark chapter in the history

I know, her name is Kim Phuc, and she has a great book called 'the girl in the picture'. Very tragic to read.
