Someday I really, truly will write an honest-to-goodness proper biography that everyone will actually want to read. But it is still not that day. Really, what more is there to tell you other than I'm an adult who still plays with dolls -- the Daz/Poser kind -- and occasionally suffers from the delusion of being taken seriously as an artist/writer? Okay, I also confess to being a chocolate addict with a Snape fixation, a highly prized collection of dust bunnies under the bed, and a stuffed snake with which I sometimes terrorize a certain silly relative who really ought to know better. Now please excuse me while I try to figure out how to keep Sherlock from completely killing my couch and Watson from barking at every passing cloud. :sigh: A Byrdie's work is never done ;-)

They are cute, and totally innocent. :)

Well ... can't blame this one on the wind. Or the cat, he knows how to hide the evidence. ;-)

They both look completely innocent. Of course, that's when you have to really watch out!

This turned out great!

Thanks. You did see it from the beginning, so that's high praise. "Toby" reminded me of the silly pooch a friend of mine had when I was a kid needing help with 5th grade math. He also had a fondness for the old Dubble Bubble -- except he didn't steal it, that I knew of. Fortunately he was not floofy, I can only imagine the mess he'd have made of himself otherwise. In our house, the gum thief was a certain ginger kitteh with an insane mint obsession. Stole a pack right out of my sister's purse and ate himself into a state not unlike a catnip induced stupor. Funny thing is, actual catnip had no effect on him. Weird, huh?

First, I'm with you on upgrading our older furniture etc through software. I'm all for it! If only someone could figure out a way to do it in real life---you morph your couch in your computer, then press "Save," and poof: You got a new couch! Kind of AI for real life. Something to work on....
Second, terrific job on the colors and light here! These two dogs really stand out. (You must have a lot of dogs! Your portraits of them are beautiful.) I love the rich reds and red-browns. And the whites jump off the page. And you gave them a fine frame too. Terrific job.
Third (re another upload)---you live in Newfoundland? Wow! Yes, you get winds there that could take 100 hats with them. I almost went there when I was in Northern Maine an eon ago. But I got called back and had to leave. I DID make it to James Bay, though, just south of the Hudson Bay. (In winter yet! The snow banks were 8 feet high...) I just wanted to go wayyyyy north. But I never got up the east coast of your beautiful land......Love your work on the forum and on d.c: so much life and joy and play in what you do. And this is a beautiful dog portrait!

Thanks! Not as many dogs as one might think. ;-) But there is one more coming and that should be all. At least, the ones based on my cat & dog photographs -- what might be visiting the garden is anybody's guess. :-)
