Description
Robins here tend to follow around while the lawn is being mowed to catch the fleeing insects. I watch them running across the lawn to capture their food

A very handsome robin. Most, of the robins here have flown to warmer places. I saw one last week at the birdbath but I haven't seen one since then.

They follow people when they mow? Smart birds! I'd think they'd be terrified of the noise! (I did landscape work years back, and I got so sick of that noise I wanted to scream.) But if they're hungry, they'll handle it.
It does look proud. Very bold surrounded by all that grass. I picture some guy with a huge lawnmower bending over to some robins, as they pay him hundreds of bucks to "get some good worms..." Fun shot. I never knew robins did that!
