I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

Nice visuals with the sense of speed. I like the blue light effects reminds of bio illumines, she is really going for the gold here. now I need to take notes.

Thanks for the comment and I really owe you for the tip on how to move the background to give the impression of speed using the motion blur option on the rendering engine. <3 If this inspires you in any way I am truly honored! =)

wow, that is some great movement/motion... this is so cool! it really conveys an awesome sense of freedom... nicely done, you :))

Thank you! I was certainly trying to suggest she was intoxicated by the speed of her skating and if any of that worked for you I am so happy. Nothing an artist likes better than getting an encouraging comment that suggests "Mission Accomplished!" =)

Nicely posed!

Thanks! I owe the pose to the "Roller Femme" content by RPublishing. Having found the posing tool included with LF2 was very easy to convert the LF pose. I have used a lot of V4 poses on LF with only a little tweaking and I expect I'll be able to use them the same way with LF2. =D

Very cool Molly and that moving set/blur thingy is a great idea!

Thanks, JD. I owe that neat hack for suggesting motion to Poser4me. I would add that I used a wind force prop to stir her dress a bit to add more to the movement illusion. This should be a trick that any software that has animation capability and motion blurring available in the rendering engine can utilize. You just move the background a foot or so through three frames of an animation and then render the middle frame with motion blurring turned on in the rendering engine. So cool! XD

Very cool scene here, Molly! The movement is perfect, and she looks great!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Rod. The combination of the pose, a Poser wind generating prop and the neat hack I got from Poser4me really came together well in what would otherwise have been a pretty humdrum picture. I always enjoy hearing from you and must start getting caught up on what you and some other have been up to artistically! =)

Interesting approach to the effect! I'm convinced that moving the background could be a good alternative, it looks cool!

Thanks! I got the idea from Poser4me who has used it in a couple of pictures that I really liked. So many cool hacks to learn for making pictures... I never have to be bored! XD

Yes, indeed! I love the things you can do with emissive materials! <3

Sorry I missed this one. Love the glow and great sense of motion in this image. The flow of her hair and the movement of the fabric in the skirt really sell give the sense of speed as she skates down the sidewalk.
MollyFootman
Thanks, Randy. The hair has some nice morphs which helped with the sense of motion; it is the hair that is included in the La Femme 2 Pro bundle. The movement of her skirt is due to using a "force field" or "wind generator" on the the skirt which is a dynamic prop (I really need to keep improving my skills and comfort level with dynamic clothing). That background with motion blur is a trick I learned from Poser4me that I need to keep messing with for sure! XD
