I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

I half expected a little old lady librarian to come shuffling along who knows where every book is. Fantastic work on this wonderful chapter.

What now Rod! I seems that with every character you introduce the story takes a new exiting turn...it will be very interesting to see where the story goes from here! No need to hurry for the next one, we all have a pretty good idea how long it takes to do your awesome art work. Have a great Halloween and enjoy passing out the candy to the many kids that come to your door. :-)

Rod, I've skipped over a bunch of images so I could comment on one more of your serial story. I'll go back to others next time (i'm at nearly an hour how---can you believe it?!---so allow me to skip right now---I want to keep the thread going on your story...)
YOu have 2 stories here---the first, the women planning the trip to that archive (which is very impressive), and the second, the archive itself.
Again, you amass your characters beautifully in the first 2 images, and never sacrifice definition of any one of them. And the combination of poses and costumes are very rich and photographic.
The 2 insets are handled beautifully too. You also show that outsider's "view into a secret character" (in the lower left inset---she'll show up later), and the text there is tantalizing and fascinating. The "we're being watched" inset---on the other side---is the perfect answer to the first inset. Ie, "there's something reeeealllly not right here..."
The next frame is clearly a "moving on" pic, because everyone is going the same direction, and you again have total clarity in each woman, once more. Ar's looking-back takes us right into the group (the rest of whom are looking forward). In other words, fine composition.
Then, boom: We're in the archives. Great visuals here. The upper floors of a huge library. Everyone's got their backs to us, and it's a very impressive visual. Also we get to see closeups of all the costumes, which you choose with real panache.
The stacks image is also impressive---a major array of books, in all kinds of configurations (nice visual counterpoint---I keep emphasizing these things because you do them so intuitively, Rod: you have a real feel for how to use space). And in the final frame, you have the discovery---though the way the stranger holds her lips, it almost is like she's on their side and doesn't want to be discovered. Though I doubt that, from the previous frames.) The three women are all in shock here, you have them placed beautifully through the pic, and kinnie's hair is partly matched by the light around the intruder: both lights are luminous and have green in them. Nice carpets too! Persian! Not too shabby a library...) Your last words are "whaaaa...?" Nice way to end it---a cliff hanger. This is really well done, Rod. Very impressive visuals throughout. I'll be back for more this week...I just wanted to get to at least 2 of your story. Now you can rest your eyes. And congratulations to Dan, btw, for whom you did a fine tribute. The citation called dan a "she" or "her"---is that correct? I figured he was a he. Well, either way, my heartfelt congratulations: It's always great when someone you know and care about---and have worked with many times---gets recognition! Very happy for Dan. More comments soon...

OMG... Mark, you make me feel like I could walk into a room filled with all the top-notch movie-makers, and they would all fall silent, and bow deeply! I'm walking on air right now... Thank you so much! You see everything in my art, and that is deeply appreciated! And I learn so much from your comments, which helps so much to keep me going during challenging times.
Yeah, Jim did a great job on that left inset. The left half of that inset is actually Bunni's "scrying bowl" that she uses to observe (i.e. spy on) places / people of interest to her.
Yeah, I saw that citation, and was going to send gToon a sitemail letting him know Dan is a guy. But - as usual - I got sidetracked and forgot. Ah well... Dan loved the dedication I did, which makes me feel great.

Incredible work again!

You have out done yourself here. Awesome scene work and can appreciate how long they took just to put together and fantastic continuation of your girls adventures. Excellent :)

Amazing work putting these panels together. Nothing safer than seeing a creepy woman appearing from portal giving you the "shhh" sign.
