I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

ein sehr schöner Render

Vielen Dank für deine netten Worte, Paulie!

Like zoinks! I'll never look at a pumpkin pie the same again. Yes the updated Superfly version looks great with better shadow, contrast, and color saturation. I wish we had a better Scooby Doo model to play with in Poser.
MollyFootman
Thanks for the encouragement, my dear. The Poser 8 dog is a pretty poor substitute for Scoobs but I thought I'd just take what I had in the image from 2017 when I first rendered it. I bet there's a better doggie out there somewhere. XD

Splendid!

Thank you! The original image was fun and I thought it would be great fun to try to update it to my improved capability. It goes to show that legacy content renders pretty well with very little tweaking! =)

Fabulous! Great lighting.
MollyFootman
Thank you, my dear! The interesting thing from my viewpoint is that the lighting set up for the contemporary rendering is much simpler than what I used in the 2017 original. XD

Beautiful pictures!! And what a nice improvement in the most recent one!!
MollyFootman
Thank you! The first one was rendered in 2017. I hope I can continue to improve my skills. It's always a pleasure to hear from you! <3

sure looks like Velma fro the Scooby-Doo days. Happy Belated Halloween.
MollyFootman
Thanks, Steve. I got Velma down pretty well, but Scooby? Not so much. XD Hope you had a Happy Halloween as well! =)

Well, Jiggies!! That would certainly add a bit of irregular heart-beat to one's Halloween activities! It's payback for that wonderful pumpkin pie you had after dinner...
Wonderful work on this, Molly! Velma looks great. Getting a good likeness is not all that easy to do, but you nailed it!
MollyFootman
Thanks, Rod! I'm very pleased with Velma but Scooby Do? Not so much. Truthfully I just wanted a dog that wasn't too unlike Scooby but I'd like to try to get a better approximation someday. Then's there's the rest of the gang... XD
Molly
P.S. I think it's "Jinkies"! =P

Good remake, very cool! The new one seems much scarier to me!
MollyFootman
Oooh! Thank you for the validation that the remake works better (especially on the level of being a bit scary!). =)

Might have solved the mystery of what happened to Linus. Fantastic Halloween image and you did a great job on your design of Velma. Definitely love what you did for the angle and lighting in the updated version.
MollyFootman
Thanks! It's a relief to know that the updated version looks better to someone other than me! XD I really spent some time on Velma. Now... if I could only do as well with Scooby and the other characters. =)

Adorable. Velma looks greeat -close to canon as possible with a great expression. Scooby is a little hard to see. i put him on the desktopp to pick up the details. Don't know how you might have changed that as adding a lighrt behind him (closer to camera) would have lessened or conflicted with the light from Velma's flashlight and0or the pumpkin.
MollyFootman
Thanks, JD. I'm very pleased with Velma but Scooby... eh... not so much. XD I think if I'd gone further with retexturing or chosen another dog model that was closer to Scooby Do's light brown coloration he would have worked out a lot better. Maybe when I take another crack at it 5 or 6 years further on (first effort is from 6 years ago). =)

Velma is a little clueless. She looks great. Good spooky lighting with the flashlight. That pumpkin looks evil!
MollyFootman
Heh. Yeah, that pumpkin is GREAT. I have a mind to make one with Velma looking for her glasses (I seem to remember that was a periodic plot device to have her drop or lose them and wind up on her hands and knees looking for them while being threatened by a monster or ghost). =)
Maybe next year... ;-)

The scene has held up well. Six years ago I'd never heard of 3-d rendering beyond game developent. Keep it up, Mollz.
