Description
“In World View “
Print 123
Since 1991, I have considered myself to be a well-seasoned artist. I have been through a couple of exhibitions now, showing my illustrations at local coffee shops, hospitals, and the like. It makes my heart jump for joy when I discover that nestled deep within one of my exhibitions is another artist, who is looking intently and admiring my work.
Whether it is a small outing or a full-fledged showing of my images that are on display, I can always find a small group that shares my passion for digital illustration. As I sit making conversation with these painters, cartoonists, and other illustrators in the field,
I tend to lend a sympathetic ear to all of their trials and tribulations all threw out their creative processes. Moreover, throughout every compliment and conversation, I have learned so much. One ideology that we all seem to share is “Never duplicate your artwork”.
A while back I created a print entitled “In the Mind’s Eye”. It was a very popular print among viewers. I consider this latest print “In World View” To be “In the Mind’s Eye’s big brother or big sister in any gender you prefer. Sometimes I believe that some rules can be broken for the good of artistic expression. The story behind a particular illustration can be the same with just a little twist.
