Description

Renderd in Cinema 4d XL 7.3, 5 lights - no radiosity. Very minor postwork. Chain gun and textures by me, as well as platform and other surroundings. The Shelby Cobra model I found years ago. did some mods to it as well as it's textures. The gils is Mindy (my own morph). clothes by Awful Sole, texture is Sonja by Stale Loseth? This was a fun render to work on, I ended up learning far more than I expected. Thanks Pingo, adding the frensel shader made it look much better! question/coments welcome.

First of all, I think it's great that you're doing some name dropping here. GOOD FORM!!! Now for the picture: You can definately do some very simple improvements on the textures here. You should try using the SLA Fresnel in your reflection channels: It gives the material some falloff, where the reflections get stronger the higher the angle is towards the camera. Furthermore, You could try putting a huge luminous (100% or more in the luminance channel) plane/Disc object above the whole scene, to create a highligt/reflection on the car. Just put a rendertag on it, so it's unseen by the camera, and doesn't cast shadow, if it get's in your way. And put a mean grill on the car!:D Cheers, Pingo.
