Inspired by the manga of the same name, which I liked very much at the time of its release (2003) and which I remembered recently.
And even though it's a sad story it gives me peace of mind when I remember (parts of) the time I've read it.
Not to mention that the OST of the anime from 2011 is also wonderful.
