Description
It occurs to me that (amid the recent changes and corresponding fears around AI) one could say society is in some ways like an AI with all the chaos and dangers it has caused. Here I would switch to call it an Alternate Intelligence (compared to individual human intelligence) as opposed to Artificial intelligence. However, the thought of sparked an idea of the fundamental units if society was an artificial intelligence.
Much of these 2 postings may only make any sense to those familiar with the electronic logic gates such as And, Or, Not, XOR, etc...

Nicely argued. But this seems so much more complex than the nice, simple ones and zeros of a binary system.
I think my old brain is too aged to develop along these lines. I'll stick to my 8bit processors. :-D
