I have no idea on how many I saw in the flight pattern to Douglas Aircraft, but they always past over my mother's home

Once in a while we see some old classic flying over here for the Air Force Academy. Most of the time they are fighter jets, however, I have seen P51, P38, B17, and the like on occasion. Good photo!

I've always loved the DC3 / C47 - it's lines just flow so beautifully.
We had a couple AC-47s (the ones with the big rotary guns sticking out the side) when I was stationed at Udorn Thailand back during the Vietnam episode. I actually worked on the comm systems in them.
