Hi, a few years ago I bought Carrara and forgot about it because CPU only renders. Now I have dealt with it again and also tested a new render engine. Luxcore is an open source project. There is still a free version for Carrara, which is a bit outdated but still works perfectly, even with my GPUs from NVIDIA. AMD is also supported as it uses OpenCL. Since I still have to get used to it a little more, my renders are pretty good but are still far from being good enough. This should then also be viewed as an exercise. Have fun :) This time something historical, as Sparta has always fascinated me. Here are a few renders... Figures: Victoria 6 /some parts with Olympia 6 too) and Michael 6, Alma Dress, Layton Hair, Spartan Clothing from MEC4D, Prompt Fantasy from DM (still the best that fantasy has to offer, even if it's so many years old :)), Helenic Props from DAZ Environment: Sunrise from Dimension Theory, 4 distant lights, one special for HDRI for Luxcore, emissions and wartereffect adjusted für Luxcore, leave the textures of the figures in the multichannel (only bump/normal maps had to be added, as well as some cutouts).
