Description
Hi, a few years ago I bought Carrara and forgot about it because CPU only renders. Now I have dealt with it again and also tested a new render engine. Luxcore is an open source project. There is still a free version for Carrara, which is a bit outdated but still works perfectly, even with my GPUs from NVIDIA. AMD is also supported as it uses OpenCL. Since I still have to get used to it a little more, my renders are pretty good but are still far from being good enough. This should then also be viewed as an exercise. Have fun :) This time something historical, as Sparta has always fascinated me. Here are a few renders...
Figures: Victoria 6 /some parts with Olympia 6 too) and Michael 6, Alma Dress, Layton Hair, Spartan Clothing from MEC4D, Prompt Fantasy from DM (still the best that fantasy has to offer, even if it's so many years old :)), Helenic Props from DAZ
Environment: Sunrise from Dimension Theory, 4 distant lights, one special for HDRI for Luxcore, emissions and wartereffect adjusted für Luxcore, leave the textures of the figures in the multichannel (only bump/normal maps had to be added, as well as some cutouts).
No Postwork...
Thanks for watching :)

Hi, water and emissions had to be adjusted, skin can be adjusted but you don't need it.
Thank you for the nice comment :)

Mindblowing hot composition, superb environment and lighting, great poses and expressions, brilliant awesome renders.
Magnificent Masterpiece of Finest Arts. I love it!
Luxcore is by far the most powerful render engine I know and yeah, it has bi-directional path tracing..

Hi, thank you very much for all the kind words :) As with every engine, the lighting is the biggest challenge. Optimization is my priority. In fact you can also render with an AMD GPU since OPENCL can also do AMD. However, initializing sometimes takes a little longer. As with iray or poser, you can save rendering time if you find the right settings...
