Excellent work, great image and scene! Probably the best Poser render I've ever seen about war (and I've been in two of them). The Planet of the Apes movie script authors got it wrong, though (even as a kid I thought "hey, what about them gorillas in the ape army?". Man isn't the only primate to behave so, just the one with the biggest and deadliest weapons and organization. Search for Jane Goodall's work on the subject "Gombe Chimpanzee War". In subsequent years, studies found that chimpanzees and humans are very similar in this behavior, even to the size of the "squads" engaged in the violence (6-8 individuals in general). The story of war isn't so much about the uniqueness of humanity's "inhumanity" to man, but about the inability to leave our prehuman violent past behind despite all our so-called "progress".
