Description
Pixie and Lena walk through "Olde Towne" a charming neighborhood in River Heights that has the flavor of Europe and the UK.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.1.518 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. Some postwork was accomplished in Superfly and some in good ol' Photoshop. The separate images were then mounted as a graphic novel page using Comic Life 3.5.21 and are also uploaded here for those who are interested in a view of them unobstructed by speech balloons and the like.
Pixie is based on Project Evolution One and Lena upon Ali's Bela. The street people include figures based on Michael 3, David 3, Stephanie Petite 3, Victoria 4, P3DA's Lorenzo and Loretta Lorez, BVH's Joshua, Raffael by 3Dream, G2 Simon and some converted low rez background folk. The setting has bits and bobs from a lot of places but mainly from Blue Tree Studios.
For my friends who are not English speaking the dialog follows after the break for easy use with translating software.

PANEL 1
Narration: Lena and Pixie arrive at the "Olde Village" neighborhood.
Lena: Wow! Just as you say, a bit of Europe in River Heights. I can see why automobiles are not permitted during the day.
Pixie: Yep! The street vendors are a lot of fun but the quality of their merchandise is not as consistent as what we were able to find for you in the Mall!
PANEL 2
Lena: No worries, Little PiX! My faith in your good taste is 100%. Where is it you think we should have lunch?
Pixie: Well... if you want to have a brew, I was thinking "The Old Crown".
Lena: Eh. No Alcohol. Have meeting with Professor Van Humbeek this afternoon, remember?
PANEL 3
Pixie: Not an issue! There's a place for great sandwiches and salads and such just down the street: The Continental Cafe.
Lena: Sounds perfect! Lead on, dear little friend!
PANEL 4
Pixie: Great! It's not too busy. I'm going to see if we can get one of the roof top tables.
Lena: Am in your hands! Lead on, Pix!
PANEL 5
Narration: The girls are observed entering the cafe by the one of the men that have been following them all morning.
Man in Black: (Thinking) There they go. I suppose I'll just have a seat here in this little park and wait for them to come out. Don't want to get tangled up in ordering food. They might just change their minds and take off or, even worse, spot me.
Truth is, we've never had an easier assignment. They're pretty much clueless and there's been no sign of anyone else tailing them. I wonder how long the department's budget will stand this waste of resources?

Very good. The dialog is easy to see and read. Your attention to detail is always amazing. At first I thought Alfred Hitchcock had made an appearance at your Cafe. :) Seriously, this is good work.

I admit to missing Hitchcock as well, even on the 'big' screen despitew hgiassb eing pretty obvious...
Nice detail and flow as always. Sorta agree with the antagonsist a bit; at some point a move will need to be made. Then agai,n ,we don't know the full extent of the 'boss antagonsist's' motives. The more her assets observe, the more they know...
Don't think the gals are as oblivious as they let on. Lenas would never have survived otherwise. Think there's mutual intelligance at play.

It's not immediately obvious (my story pacing is so SLOW that it's hard to follow, I'm afraid) but these MIB dudes are Federal Agents. In the next page or two we'll see what's become Anzhelika Kropuscov's operatives "the twins". I think a better story teller might have compressed the last three pages into one but I really enjoy moseying along in a leisurely manner with Pix and Lena; I really like them. =)

OK..... I'm not seeing things..... My first thought was "There's good ol' Alfie with one of his famous quickie appearances!" I have to agree with jdwtrxk... I think there's more going on here than we know.. Could just be my overactive imagination.. LOL
Really superbly done, Molly! I've thought about changing the layout on my story pages, but I think everyone is used to the 5-panel stacked configuration. I'd have to use something more like your layout if I decide to make the pages standard 8.5 X 11 (and I may at some point for publishing on DVD - someday...).

Thanks, Rod. I appreciate the effort you are making to follow the story as my pace has been kind of... S... L... O... W. I do like lingering on these two girls that I love so much, though. XD
I've been imitating the layout of a graphic novel or comic book and have to admit it may not be the easiest to scan on a computer screen. I just enjoy imitating what I've seen done in the graphic material I've read over the years. =)
